Songs of Conquest is a premium strategy title for PC developed by Lavapotion. It's a turn-based fantasy game that incorporates management and RPG elements into its gameplay. Players will venture into a magical and unknown land, faces various enemies, and hunt for treasure and powerful artifacts.

Songs of Conquest mixes the deeply strategic gameplay mechanics of Total War: Warhammer with the RPG elements and procedural storytelling of Wildermyth to offer a satisfying and immersive experience. The game also allows them to play with friends or other players in duels via online or local multiplayer mode.

What is the game about?

Songs of Conquest is a game that was heavily inspired by 90s classics, both in presentation and gameplay. It features isometric 2.5D graphics and charming retro pixel art. In it, you'll get to explore a wide variety of maps that contain multiple biomes with diverse enemy types, environments, and tactical considerations. There are four factions at war, each with its own history, agenda, and desire for dominance.

In this game, your ultimate goal is to build an empire. Manage your resources, invest in research and development, and expand your influence and territory. Learn and master its combat system that lets you create an army of different strengths and abilities to maximize your battle power and potential. The battlefield's terrain and condition will also play a role in gaining a tactical advantage over your foes.

What's more, the game offers an in-game editor that will let you create custom maps and missions for additional content. You can even include character dialogues, unique soundtracks, and share them with other players. Do note, however, that it's not out yet. You'll have to wait for more news and updates regarding its target Q2 2022 release window on its official Steam page.
